CLASS SCHEDULE 

September 8, 2018 - May 23, 2019

Wayzata Ballet provides a multi-level Vaganova based program that includes year round education, training and performance. Classes are designed for dancers age 4 through adult who are serious about training in classical ballet. Advanced dancers will study pointe, variation & repertoire and perform at a professional level frequently during the year.  Contact us to take a free trial class and meet with the director. 

Dress code: female dancers please wear a black leotard, pink tights and slippers, and fix hair in a bun. Male dancers please wear a white t-shirt, black tights and slippers. Adult open class dancers are not required to follow this dress code but are encouraged to dress appropriately for ballet class.

Level I

This class is for beginners age 4 and up with no prior training.  Students take class 2 or 3 days per week. View Tuition

Tuesday: 4:30-5:15 PM

Wednesday:  4:30-5:15 PM

Saturday: 9:00-9:45 AM

Level II

This class is for beginner age 6 and up with prior training or by audition. Students take class 2 or 3 days per week. View Tuition

Tuesday: 5:30-6:45 PM

Wednesday:  5:30-6:45 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM-10:15 AM

Level III

For ages 7 and up with prior dance training. Students take class 3 or 4 days per week. View Tuition

Tuesday: Ballet 5:30-7:00 PM; Pre-Pointe 7:00-7:30 PM

Wednesday:  Ballet 5:30-7:00 PM; Pre-Pointe 7:00-7:30 PM

Saturday: Ballet 9:00 AM-10:30 AM

Sunday: Ballet 12:00 PM-1:30 PM; Pre-Pointe 1:30-2:00 PM

Level IV

For ages 9 and up with at least one year en pointe.  Students take class 3 or 4 days per week. Placement by audition only. View Tuition

Tuesday: 5:30-7:00 PM; Pointe 7:00-7:30 PM

Wednesday:  5:30-7:00 PM; Pointe 7:00-7:30 PM

Saturday: Ballet 9:00 AM-10:30 AM

Sunday: Ballet 12:00 PM-1:30 PM; Pointe 1:30-2:00 PM

Level V

Ages 16 and up with at least three years en pointe. This program is by invitation only and offers Pre-Professionals to apprentice with METROPOLITAN BALLET. Dancers will be invited to audition for talent based scholarships that pay up to 50% of their tuition. View Tuition

OPEN BALLET & BARRE CLASSES

ADULT & TEEN  – Taking for the first time or continuing your training, ballet & barre classes are exquisite ways to condition your body while enhancing flexibility and strength. The first hour of the classes listed here is a traditional barre class that can be taken on a drop-in basis.  View Tuition

Tuesday & Wednesday: Barre 5:30 - 6:15 PM; Full Class 5:30 - 7:00 PM; Pointe 7:00 - 7:30 PM

Saturday: Barre 9:00-10:00 AM; Full Class 9:00 AM-10:30 AM

WEATHER CANCELATIONS:  In the event there is a school closure due to weather the greeting on the Wayzata Ballet information line will have an announcement. Call the school in the event there are area school  closures.
